Joe (the Latino man in the center of the photo below) talked about his wife and son enjoying the photos on your website. He told the other class participants (none had seen the photos) that they included a variety of shots with the group, and he referenced this photo in particular. Joe told us that his son had asked him, “So, Dad aren’t you racist?” And Joe had answered, “Nah, son. I'm not racist. It’s not like that in here.” His son replied, “That's good.” And then confided, “I have a black friend too, and I didn’t know if you wouldn’t like that.” Joe was super proud that he had (at least in one area of his life) set a positive example for his son… thanks to your photograph!
