Peter was born and raised in the swamp country of southern Georgia, but the heat and bugs eventually chased him out. He graduated from Duke University, spent time in the English Lakes District and Steamboat Springs, Colorado, and has settled for the time being near San Francisco. When working with film, he uses medium format and 4x5. In the last couple of years he has been documenting the work of some non-profit organizations (NGOs) near his home; this work is digital.
